Ah yeah!!! THE CRUXSHADOWS put on one helluva show Thursday night. My boy Rogue came out to the audience dozens of times singing and walking and pausing through the crowd. And man, the way he tells a story, it's DRAMATIC! I told one of my goth/punk brothers, he needs get with Disney because he can narrate a story so good, he make you visualize. The story is mythology. The band did songs from their new release "Ethernaut" and their previous "Wishfire." And of course, we gave them an ENCORE. We wanted them to do another song. The band came back on stage and did one more for us. "Marilyn, My Bitterness" was the final song. Rogue jump off stage and came to the audience and getting people to go on the stage with the band after he got a chair and put it by it. Chris came from behind his keyboard and help Rogue to pull the goths up on stage. And I was one of them.

After the show, I talk to Rogue about "Ethernaut." I told him it's kinda of leaning on the ebm side. He said he wanted it to be different. Don't want the album to sound like the previous one. Got to do something different. And I agree with him. He gave me his autograph and a hug.

Also to mention, I taught the band a slang word. When they was on stage and Rogue telling us the songs they're singing is from "Ethernaut" and we should pick it up, I said to him "It's off the chain!" He said is it a Alabama slang. A couple of us said yeah. I translate what it means: "It kicks ass!" Rogue replied back: "That's a new one on me." Really it's an urban slang. For those who listens to hip-hop/rap, you get the picture.

If you haven't seen THE CRUXSHADOWS live, go see them. If you don't go, you'll be sorry to miss an EXCELLENT show. Three reasons I suggest you to go see this awesome band.

1. Their music is different and original.

2. They know how to put on a great show.

3. They connect with the fans and don't act like they're sedicted and all that.

PEACE OUT!
