The newest outings from Germany's own Depeche Mode is eleven brand new anthems for all the romantically exiled loners abound. The duo of subtle synths & romantic crooner vocal delivery is ever present w/ deeply longing songs to more dance oriented pieces. They're one of Europe's brightest stars & those not familiar w/ these pop boys must give them a listen! Like their previous albums, "Casting Shadows" is truly an unnerving journey of eightieseque inspired new wave w/ some of the most seductive vocals ever. This entire disc rocks though personal favorites would have to include "Everyone Who Casts a Shadow", "I Won't Believe", "And I…", "Underneath the Veil", "Find You're Gone", "This is for Love", & the lush instrumental, "In Time". Highly recommended!
