This is a compilation of Steril greatest hits musical journey from their early years and tracks from their four previous albums that was release through the dissolved label Off Beat. The band started 15 years ago and been influence by Skinny Puppy. My very first time hearing about this industrial-rock band and they certainly got my attention. Steril have a way of keeping people in interest by using different kinds of beats from industrial, techno and hip-hop. A different attitude and direction they are given on some of the tracks. Vocals also arranged to be harsh, steady singing and even rapping. Their classics includes "Egoist", "No Remission", "Guess" with female lead vocals, "Deep", "Shame" "I Get Closer", and "Lies". If haven't heard of this German trio, this collection of their 13 best hits is a good start. The band is releasing their up-coming Art Of Fact release "Realist" in this year 2006.
