The Barbarellatones - Invasion of the Surf Zombies

The Barbarellatones make what they term "horror surf-rock". I just call it "fun".  An impressive 19 tracks never fail to entice the lonely listener who has strayed too far on the beach at night. With titles like "Zombie Drag Queen", "Tranny Trogolodyte" and "Night of the Surfing Dead" you know the dark lustre of these water-logged surf bandits.

I'm not exactly a stranger to the group as they do hail from the sun-blessed (and surf-blessed) state of Hawaii.

I believe they reside and play on Maui venturing out to Honolulu on occasion to perform.

I'm not sure what I can add to what I've already said, but do check them out if you can. All in all a very fun-filled

surf-soaked  time for the denizens of night who venture into the near blue yonder.
