This Bristol-based quintet phenomenon unleashes the brutal fury that is widely known as Technical Brutal Death metal. The quintet warriors ravish some new meat for its listeners to chew on and with that added metal spice totals out as a British band worthy of a spot in UK metal history.

A silenced yet highly eerie atmospheric introduction is imminently followed by the cataclysmic sounds of Trigger the Bloodshed (TTB), blistering drumming is only challenged by the ferocity of the death growls and guitars in arms. Down-to-earth death metal style vocals eludes the total sonata that your ears bleed to, the compositions are of sublime quality and fail to disappoint.

Guttural vocals erupt around the room with speakers only set at 40% volume; perhaps this means that TTB obviously have the sonic sound capabilities that today’s military aircraft have just perfected. Brutality meets prime British beef in this metal opus, carving the best out of Bristol’s population and stitching it to the Union Jack.

Electrifying guitar solos and eccentric tunes erupt from my speakers as my spine gets shot by Goosebumps arising on my skin; this album is not for the faint-of-heart. Each song has its own composition variation, ranging from brutal speeds to melodic symphonies but remaining deep within the brutal death metal vein.

A definite album that Metal Hammer will put in 2010’s best albums list, that im adamant of, if not, they would have missed an epic 34 minutes of solid slaughtering and mass brutalisation, after this album, I reckon you may need to take a trip to the doctors for mass ear drum strangulation, such an epic album must not be missed.

Recommended for Whitechapel, BMTH, Malefice, Scarab, Terrordrome and Deathbound fans.
