Being quoted as San Francisco’s vampiest band, Whipkraft’s music has elements of goth, darkwave, cyber and industrial. Their 3 song demo CD was quite interesting to listen to. For all you older Goths (like me), their sound is similar to God’s Girlfriend, Sleep Chamber or maybe early Fear Cult. Singer and dominatrix Vega Li’s distorted vocals give each song a cool eerie sound. Songs on the demo are “Purgatory Kiss”, “Hero Tried Failed” and “Skretched” (CD included an untitled forth track).
