Annie Barker is a vision. Her voice flourishes like whispering angels, while the blissful music envelops. But for me, it is Annie’s phenomenal songwriting skills that I found such bewitchment in. Lush, surreal and personal. Beautifully poetic. Inspiring.

And like the rainbow, in order for it to truly bask in the colors of its astonishing beauty, it needs a great rain--Robin Guthrie of the Cocteau Twins produced Annie’s breathtaking debut album “Mountains and Tumult”, hence, the rain and the appearance of the rainbow. (:
