It’s very hard to write a review for the American harsh EBM act nolongerhuman’s debut album Antipathy. The reason is not that it’s bad, writing reviews for shitty releases are one of my favourite hobbies. The thing is that it sounds so much like everything else. Distorted lyrics, fast and heavy pounding beats with high pitched loops. It’s good, but it doesn’t stand out in any way. You are unable to say that you clearly can here that it is a “typical nolongerhuman song”, because it sounds like hundreds of other harsh EBM releases I got for reviewing over the years.

If you like me, like harsh EBM, you probably like it too, but since there’s artists that have a more unique sound, you probably end up listening to them instead, sad but true.
