Submarine Fleet- In A Case of Fire

This band is full of seasoned musicians. The track " Universe Control Static" is lush and even though it's an 8 minute song it could have easily been 15 minutes it's soo good!! The vocals are sexy and are reminiscent of greats like Jim Morrison, IKON,and Bono.

There are many shoegazer moments (Lycia, Siddal) to goth sounds like Siouxsie and Peter Murphy, Autumn, Cinema Strange.(Navigator's Lament) This doesn't surprise me, because the band names these as some of their influences. But they are clear in the sound of their music. But because this band is full of pros and band members that have been in many bands (Trance to the Sun, Written in Ashes, etc) you can hear a hint of YES, U2, Bauhaus.
