TV and Movie News Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 
Five words of extraordinary influence are all I need to say…Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman…Sweeney Todd. OK, I’ll say a little bit more; the movie is called “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, based on the 19th century legend, and award-winning Broadway musical by Stephen Sondheim.
“Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” tells the story of a barber in coo hoots with Mrs. Lovett, the owner of a meat pie shop, who helps Sweeney smell the bloody-good success of revenge served up fresh and tasty, from those in the past in who had done Sweeney wrong…very wrong.
The movie is slated for release on Friday, December 21st, 2007.
