Vertical Section's debut EP Death Throes is now available for download direct from the band and on the Vampire Freaks music store. It will also be available on the FiXT store, iTunes, Amazon, Zune and other major online music stores for its January 25th, 2011 release date.  More after the break.

Vertical Section is a new industrial rock project from Seattle, Washington by Joel Day. New wave and EBM influences combine with pop-sensibility as the foundation for a misanthropic lyrical assault that pulls absolutely no punches on those who aim to enslave the populace as our darkest hour approaches.

Death Throes is Vertical Section's debut, 7-track EP to be released on January 25th, 2011. Collaborators in our exploitation, purveyors of meaningless distraction and a shadowy elite seeking to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else: these are just a few of the targets. The signs of collapse are everywhere; you just have to be willing to see.

Joel Day is an experienced software engineer and freelance sound designer. As a game industry veteran, Joel has worked at Bungie and Microsoft on a variety of AAA titles. Most recently, Joel provided sound design for Unite, the free game for Windows Phone 7.
