When you hear the words Nitzer Ebb what do you think? To me they sum up pioneers of the industrial EBM sound that has rocked the alternative world for a long time. They are a band whose music you associate with dark and devious beats. To me they are like The Sisters Of Mercy but of the EBM genre, they helped create and define some of the music we love today. Nitzer Ebb are still producing and defining EBM so it was with great pleasure to Grave Concerns Ezine when we got to speak to Douglas J. McCarthy from Nitzer Ebb and ask him about Nitzer Ebb and also his new solo album Kill Your Friends.

There hasn’t been a band in the last few years that I have noticed that haven’t been anticipated as much as Gemini Syndrome. They are shrouded in an air of mystery regarding what is to come. The video to their latest single Pleasure And Pain gives nothing at all away either but the song is hard hitting yet a breath of fresh air highlighting their unique style. Grave Concerns got a chance to catch up with Gemini Syndrome and here is how it went.

Interview: picard ~ indie rock – Eau Claire WI

Picard started as a solo/personal project by Jason (Skwerlz) Ulwelling formerly of Orestus. The sound didn't fit any of the previous bands or projects he was involved in, so the tracks sat on the back burner. The initial intention was to get some ideas tracked and do some personal music. It was only intended to be shared with friends and family.
