Anders Manga to Headline Anne Rice's Vampire Ball

Today we are thrilled to announce that Anders Manga will be headlining Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Ball this Halloween in New Orleans, LA. This now legendary annual party will take over the Howlin' Wolf (907 S. Peters, New Orleans) for the night of Friday, Oct. 26, 2007. Also on the bill is the haunting music of Paul Mercer and his Ghost Project trio & Analog Missionary. The theme for this year's party will be "The Witching Hour".

"I think this party is going to make history as one that will be talked about for years to come! The new era of the Vampire Lestat fan club has begun. Where we go from here is unlimited," said fan club president, Sue Quiroz.

Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club was established in 1988 and stayed active until it dissolved in 2000 (for numerous reasons); at that point there were thousands of members, all over the world.

In 2006, several former/key members of the ARVLFC got in touch with each other thanks to the internet. Old times were reminisced, the future was discussed, and they all realized how much they missed it. Anne was approached about resurrecting the ARVLFC and, in response to her fans' undying devotion, and in order to help a struggling post-Katrina New Orleans, Anne gave her consent for the ARVLFC to reform.

If you are making plans to attend this year's party be aware that there will be more events planned, a wine tasting event on Thursday, Oct. 25th, and more surprises in the works for Saturday.....be sure to sign up for membership in the Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club as members will have first dibs on the coveted tickets.

The fan club membership opened on March 31st, 2007. Start making your plans today, October is just 7 short months away! It's never too soon to get your attire ready!
